Description
This is a original B/W film of live game footage between the New York Giants and Chicago Bears. This game took place on January 27, 1935 at Gilmore Stadium in LA California. This was a barnstorming game after the season. The Bears won. However, These two teams played in the NFL championship game 1934 in which the Ny Giants defeated the Bears in a game dubbed the sneakers game. This film is in excellent shape and can be converted to DVD format. The film is about 12 minutes long. and features many hall of fame players. Three did not even wear a helmet. This film shows Red Grange making his last attempt to score a touch down. Even with the Giants backing off the aged galloping ghost was caught from behind by a lineman.
